Captain Pablo Avendano gained his sailing experience where he grew up in Bocachica, near Cartagena de India whilst his borther and first mate Willy Avendano gained her passion for the sea in the same region and almost at the very same time. Their father is a seasoned sailor who still works at Club Nautico in Cartagena de Indias. Pablo an Willy have shared many adventures together and now wish to share more with you as your crew.

They both really enjoy sailing and the sea and are passionate about sharing it with others. As crew of Softair they really go out of their way to make sure all their guests have a great time. Combined they make a great team on Softair.

Pablo and Willy have been providing an excellent service aboard different yachts in the Cartagena and San Blas waters now for a number of years. Captain Pablo along with the yacht owner have worked hard making Softair the finest yacht available in the Cartagena and San Blas areas. Pablo'a and Willy's knowledge of the islands, their anchorages, snorkel and dive spots and their ability to make sailing fun will guarantee you a great time.

Your Captain

Pablo Avendao, originally from Boca Chica, has been involved in sailing all his life. Pablo's experience comes from years of sailing and extensive yacht racing.

Pablo has also crewed many private and charter yachts and completed many yacht deliveries. Other than sailing he loves to dive, bike, hike, travel and just have fun.

Pablo has a Yacht Patron license. He ensures the highest competence and safety to guests and maintains Softair to the highest standards and safety requirements.
 

Your First Mate

Willy Avendano, is from Bocachica, an island near Cartagena de Indias, Willy offers a charm of caribbean hospitality that will make you feel right at home on Softair.

Willy also holds a Yacht Patron license and with Pablo will make sure you have the finest time on board.

Your Second Mate

Jamilson NIño was born in Barranqulla, largest city in the colombian north coast. He enjoys cooking great food for all of our guests, making sure that our guests are pampered with drinks, snacks and all needed items at all times. Jamilson will be there when you need a hand boarding the yacht, carrying your shop bags and just about every need our guests may have on board.

As our Guest Services crewmember you will appreciate  the time and effort Jamilosn puts on the kitchen and every single activity where extra safety or a helping hand is needed, we are here to make of this a unique, memorable experience after all.
